Dr. Lisseth Rojas-Flores is an associate professor of marriage and family therapy in Fuller Theological Seminary’s School of Psychology. Her primary research interests focus on trauma, youth violence prevention, and the quality of parent-child relationships and overall well-being of children and parents living in low-income immigrant families in the United States. She is also engaged in international research collaborations in El Salvador.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, she takes a special interest in addressing the interrelationships between family, mental health, and social policy issues. She recently received funding from the Foundation for Child Development to study the impact of immigration enforcement on Latino children’s well-being in the context of their families, schools, and communities.
