Christa Nelson, MEd, MA

Christa Scholtz Nelson, a third-year student in the Clinical Psychology PhD program, is a 2016–2017 Thrive Scholars Fellow. She holds a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Education from Loyola Marymount, as well as a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Fuller’s Graduate School of Psychology. Christa is a Teach for America Los Angeles alumni corps member and is currently working as a therapist at the Pepperdine Student Counseling Center. Her research interests include purpose, identity, perfectionism, and performance.
