On Thursday, January 16, 2025, Pam King, Executive Director of the Thrive Center for Human Development, will be joining a special Civitas meeting to address the community’s response to the recent fire disaster. The event, titled A Community in Crisis: Moving Through Grief into Disaster Response, will offer an opportunity to reflect on the collective grief and urgent need for action in the wake of this unprecedented tragedy. Dr. King, along with Jennifer DeVoll, CEO of the Pasadena Community Foundation, will lead the discussion on how our community can navigate this crisis and mobilize for recovery. The meeting will take place at the Civitas Clubhouse in Pasadena, CA, starting at 5:30 PM PST.
